Miller Motorsports Park has brought big-time professional auto and motorcycle racing not only to Tooele County, but to Utah as well. Racers gush with praise for the new facility, which hosts several top professional events every summer.

The main road course is 4.5 miles long, 40 to 50-feet wide, with a 24-turn layout that provides a variety of cornering speeds from 50 mph to over 100 mph. The fastest cars and motorcycles approach 200 mph on the track’s 50-foot wide, 3,500-foot main straightaway.

The European-style road course gives spectators ideal viewing opportunities, with the nearby Oquirrh and Stansbury Mountains providing a scenic backdrop. The biggest scheduled racing events include the American LeMans Series, the HANspree FIM Superbike World Championships, Nascar Camping World Series, and the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series.

But MMP is much more than a fabulous place to watch super fast cars and motorcycles. Combined with Deseret Peak Complex just next door, MMP is a one-stop destination for family fun. Automotive and motorcycle racing expertise, provided by the professional staff at MMP, offers an abundance of recreational options every week and weekend throughout the summer.

The 4.5-mile circuitous track can be rented by racing clubs, and there’s a world-class kart track for children and adults to experience the rush of competition. Karts are available, and the kart shop is fully stocked to support beginners or experienced racers.

MMP also features basketball courts and a playground. Deseret Peak Complex to the south offers a beautiful aquatic center for drivers and spectators to cool off after a hot day of racing. The complex also features camping facilities, a mini golf course, two museums and a motocross track.

During its first year in 2006, MMP was named the “Motorsports Facility of the Year” by the Professional Motorsports World Expo in Cologne, Germany.
